This Festive Christmas box includes 4 of our most popular cheeses, two kinds of crackers, 2 meat options as well as some preserves and sweets. A complete package for a charcuterie board or pre-dinner graze for a gathering of between 4 and 8 people. It profiles 5 Salt Spring Companies, South End Sausage, SS Kitchen, SS Cookies, Harlan’s Chocolate and ourselves, SSI Cheese.
Cheeses include:
1) Ruckles – soft goat cheese rolled into logs and marinated in grape seed oil, fresh hers and garlic. Tastes great on anything!
2) Garlic Chevre – plain soft goat cheese topped with roasted garlic. Great on turkey leftover sandwiches.
3) Holiday Basil Chevre – a festive garnish of Basil and Pink Peppercorns made to look like Holly on our soft cheese.
4) Juliette – a ripened Camembert style cheese. Eat it at room temperature or warm it in the oven with a festive topping.
